In a italian language, CASA MILA , it means a thousand houses. When I heard of
gaudi's casa mila, I had been very curious in the name of the house. When I
visit there, I can understand the name of the house. There are a lot of designs,
details, facades and so on. Gaudi had expressed the human's minds that have many
aspects and appearances through the design of house. And also, the spaces of the
house has many feelings. The movie had initiated from the entrance to present
them. The patio is important to me for the subscription of all spaces in the
house. By stepping up the stairs of the patio, you feels the growing the space
that surrounds it. From the inside to the outside, this circular patio placed on
the sky instead of the ground. It does not contain the airs and the lights but
also yourselves like a magic. Its impression is very wonderful. This house had
been built in 1905-1910. Though it have passed more than 100 years, but it have
been always used for the shops and apartments by the peoples. So, Casa Mila is
the permanent modern design. We name it Art-Nouveau. |
